In the article, issues of interaction between Kazakhstan and Turkey in the archive industry are discussed. The practice of preservation and study of audiovisual documents in Turkey is shown, and the possibility of enriching the fund of the Central State Film and Photo Archives (hereinafter - the archive of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan) with the documents related to the history and culture of the Kazakh people in Turkey is reviewed. An arrangement of events between the archives of the two countries in the foreseeable future is described.
