Finally, the university can work endlessly on positioning,
specialization, and defi ning a niche, but without proper service
provision, it will be diffi
cult to retain a client. Universities should strive
to strengthen customer loyalty.
Enrollment management benefi ts educational institutions by
systematizing and organizing a complex system of operations for the
interaction of the university and the student, which often function
inconsistently with each other. it is possible to retain graduates of
bachelor’s and master’s degrees by encouraging them to continue their
master’s and doctoral studies at the same university with the help of
attractive marketing off ers.
Conclusion
The authors of the article consider fi nancial stability to be one of
the fundamental factors for ensuring the sustainability of the business
model of private universities. In turn, a sustainable university model
is a competitive model. Further, stable competitiveness increases the
visibility of the university. It is a mistake to strive for visibility ahead
of establishing sustainability and ensuring competitiveness. Visibility
is a logical consequence of careful work in several proposed areas, not
counting the generally accepted areas for strengthening the scientifi c
and international component, which, it seems to us, are secondary for
small private Kazakh universities. Excessive attention to administrative
and managerial problems in the initially academic environment of
the university may lead to a deviation from the main mission of the
university – education. However, even in an academic environment, it is
no longer possible to do without management in the fi eld of education,
strategic management, risk management, project management,
enrollment management, marketing management, and even personal
management.
