ISSUES OF SOCIO-ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
OF THE REGION IN KAZAKHSTAN
Abstract
The article considers regional development programs in the Republic
of Kazakhstan, their benefi ts for the country’s economy, the importance
of supporting and developing development programs. In addition, the
analysis of the main trends of the development program in Almaty
region was carried out. In particular, the analysis of the population,
employment, nominal monetary incomes of the population, as well as
the most important sectors of the economy: industry, agriculture, small
and medium-sized businesses was carried out. In the context of the
2020 covid-19 coronavirus infection pandemic in the country, Almaty
