DEVELOPMENT OF THE GREEN ECONOMY IN
KYRGYZ REPUBLIC
Annotation
Sustainable development and the green economy are the foundation of long-term prosperity
and well-being. Thus the green economy is growing in importance around the world. To develop
sustainably all countries need to green their economies, and this includes Kyrgyzstan. The green
economy will provide better jobs for our people, and will provide the clean air and water for a
healthy environment for healthy people. The path to sustainable development will be the best path
of development for our country.
