It has become obvious that the issues of introducing Internet technologies in education have
been raised for quite a
long time, attempts to modernise education and introduce Internet
technologies in educational activities are being made at the state level. However, there are a
number of factors that hinder this. Many authors name such problems as lack of methodological
base, insufficient competence of teachers in working with computers and poorly equipped
classrooms with necessary equipment.
Undoubtedly, teachers are already practicing the use of Internet resources in their teaching
activities, but in this case they follow their own developments and not infrequently deviate from
the curricula.
All of the above allows us to conclude that the problem of
using Internet resources in
English lessons is relevant, but there is not yet a sufficient scientific and methodological basis for
its solution. By now we can speak about the stage of experience accumulation, creation and
practical use of the considered teaching tool and about its prospectivity.
