The need for more effective English language teaching is becoming more urgent. The modern world is characterized by rapid changes in all spheres of society and, as a result, in education. Two global trends have emerged in recent decades: informatization and globalization. Informatization is the process of transition from an industrial society to an information society, where information becomes an important strategic resource in all spheres of society, such as politics, economics, education and culture. In the course of informatization, paper media are increasingly being replaced by digital media, all branches of science, technology and engineering are being automated, changes are taking place in the professional structure of society and people's attitude to work, and education is being integrated into the global information system. [1]. Globalization is characterized mainly by increased opportunities for information exchange, including at the international level. Kazakhstan is beginning to integrate into the global information space. In this regard, regular exchange of experience is of great importance. The Internet has become one of the main platforms for establishing international contacts (remotely). Hence the increasing role of Internet technologies in society and the increasing importance of education, where social trends are influenced by the process of informatization and the need for global integration of the educational system [2]. According to the standards, graduates of a modern school should have the skills to speak at least one foreign language and modern information and communication technologies, as well as be able to actively participate in intercultural communication [3]. For them, qualities such as independent analytical thinking, thinking about rational ways to overcome difficulties, creative thinking, flexibility in non-standard situations and interaction with people from various social groups are important. |
