MODERN DISTANCE LEARNING METHODS OF CHEMISTRY

The data and advantages, including disadvantages of traditional and modern methodologies, 
were analyzed. The relevance of this work lies in the use of modern methods of teaching chemistry.
To date, there are a number of teaching methods. For comparison, an experiment was 
conducted where the following methods were used:
 

a traditional lecture
(in the control group, to compare the results after applying 
other methods. This is a lecture, which is a presentation of theoretical material)

a lecture-visualization 
(the presentation of lecture material with the help of 
technical means of teaching (audio or video equipment) 

a problem lecture 
(type of lecture in which new knowledge is introduced through 
the problematic nature of a question, task or situation)
 

a lecture-press conference 
(lecture that is a discussion to determine the level of 
assimilation of the material presented).
 
For the experiment, 3 ninth grades were taken, where there were 22 students in each class
At the first stage, the state of the work was studied and analyzed with the help of a control 
work. According to the results of the first control work, control group 9 “A” scored 34%, group 9 
“B” scored 36%, and group 9 “C” scored 35%. 
According to the 
results of the second control work, control group 9 “A” scored 45%, group 9 “B” scored 72%, and 
group 9 “C” scored 68%. The experiment showed that: 
- method Lecture-press conference at 38%,
- the Lecture method with the analysis of specific situations is 23% more effective than the 
traditional method. 
The results of the 
experiment made it possible to determine how effective the selected methods are. The data obtained 
were analyzed, as well as the advantages of the applied, including the disadvantages of traditional 
and modern methodologies.
