Graphene is a unique allotrope of carbon and its promising properties make it an interesting
material to study and could bring many technological breakthroughs in the years to come. Its unique
structure and properties have made it one of the most widely researched materials in recent years.
Graphene technology is developing rapidly and making remarkable achievements.
Graphene, discovered in 2004, is one of the biggest discoveries of the 21st century. Graphene
is a two-dimensional material consisting of a single layer of carbon atoms in a hexagonal lattice.
Graphene is the strongest, thinnest and most conductive material in existence, making it an ideal
choice for a broad range of applications, from electronics to energy storage.
Graphene is a material that could have potential use in electronic devices due to its high
mobility, flexibility, transparency and chemical stability. The current emphasis is on developing
advanced G-EDs with outstanding characteristics and the use of transparent graphene-based
electrodes, sensor screens, ultra-sensitive detectors, flexible and wearable devices to achieve
technological breakthroughs. Graphene-based transparent electrodes offer superior properties such
as flexibility, high conductivity and low cost. Graphene's large surface area and sensitivity to
changes in the environment make it an excellent material for sensors. In addition, the mechanical
flexibility of graphene allows it to be integrated into sensors and displays, with potential
applications in healthcare for real-time vital signs monitoring.
Wearable graphene-based electronics - an upcoming innovation. Despite the development of
many electronic systems based on graphene with unique properties, the problems associated with
the development of materials for commercial electronics still exist and demand continued research.
Once these challenges are solved, graphene will come into focus as an active material for the
electronics of the future.
