- Good morning children.

Good morning to you!

Good morning, dear teacher.

We are glad to see you!

- How are you?

- Who is on duty today?

- Is anybody absent today?

- Why is absent?

- Thank you. Sit down, please.

Today we are having an open lesson. We have got many guests. I think that you are glad to have guests today.

1.Жаңа грамматикамен таныстыру.

-Children look at the blackboard. Today we have a new grammar “There is, There are”. We use “There is” in singular forms and “There are” in plural forms.

e.g. There is one book. There are five books.

-Write down these new grammar in your copy books.

I’ll ask two children to come forward and look at the poster. Children ask

questions about it, e.g. Is there a teddy? Children at the front answer, Yes,

there is /No, there isn’t.

Let’s read the theme of our lesson. Yes, you are right. The theme of our lesson

is “Describing the environment”.

Today we’ll describe the pictures using “there is, there are”.

First of all, let’s remember the prepositions of place.

-Look at the blackboard. Where is the rabbit?

Children answer: The rabbit is in the box.

The rabbit is between the boxes.

The rabbit is next to the box.

The rabbit is under the table.

The rabbit is on the table.

1.Сөйлеу

I’ll begin asking children to describe each picture. Children describe the pictures using “there is” and prepositions of place. E.g. There is a dog under the tree. There is a cat in the tree. There is a horse in the barn. There is a boy next to the goat. There is a goat between the boy and the dog.



2.Оқу.

1.Children read the text to find out where is the goat, cow, boy, etc.

They read, match and draw the lines.



2.Children read the text through and look at the picture. They read the

text again and colour/ draw the items.



3.Translate into English.

1.Столдың астында кітап бар.

2.Төсектің жанында мысық бар.

3.Қорапшаның ішінде қуыршақ бар.

4.Орындықтың үстінде сумка бар.

4.Answer the questions.

1.Is there a rabbit next to the house?

2.Is there a table in the room?

3.Is there a blue rabbit in the house?

4.Is there a dog next to the house?

5.Is there a white house?

- Let’s have a rest.

- Do you remember “The counting game”. Let’s count.

Eleven, twelve, dig and delve.

1. Children look at the pictures, read the questions and write the answers, as in

the examples.

Children read out the questions and their answers. If the answer is No, I’ll

ask them to try to make a correct statement.

Answers: Yes, there is; No, there is not (There is a cow in the barn); Yes,

there is ; Yes, there is.



2.Children read, look and write the words.

Children put the objects in the picture.
