Course description: Modern methods of evaluation of learning outcomes. The role and importance of evaluation in the educational process. Scientific and pedagogical bases of technology of criterion estimation. Methodological basis of the system of criteria assessment. Principles of criteria-based assessment. Functions of pedagogical assessment.Types of assessment and technology design assessment of educational achievements of students.
Course aim: Familiarization with the concepts "evaluation", "evaluation system", "evaluation criteria" the formation of a modified educational platform, the development of new educational standards based on competence approach is the basis for technology based assessment of students ' achievements, with interdisciplinary and systemic character affecting the formation of learning and cognitive competence of students.

Expected learning outcomes of the sudject (LOS):
- knows the system of criterion evaluation of students ' activity taking into account the modern requirements of the school;
- he is able to apply the technology of creterial assessment in science lessons in specialized schools;
- to carry out diagnostics of educational achievements of pupils taking into account individual features ofpupils;
- owns and measurement technologies for the assessment of students in geography
