Warm-up
With books closed ask students how many of them watch a popular TV programme,which you name.
Do the same thing with two more programmes and write the numbers on the board.
Explain to students that you have just carried out a survery too see which tv programmes they watch.Ask how you can present the numbers you have collected.
Elicit some ideas about graphs and charts but do not confirm or reject any this stage.
