background of economic, social, political and cultural processes and
requires a signifi cant restructuring of the system of managerial cross-
cultural communications, without which the eff ective functioning
of the company is impossible and the formation of cross-cultural
communicative competence of managers and their knowledge of a
partner plays a huge role. At the same time, the role of China’s global
presence is growing, determined by the specifi cs of the country’s
economic development. As part of the study, the features of the
organization and management of business with the participation of
Chinese companies have been identifi ed. Cross-cultural interaction is
one of the factors for the successful implementation of joint projects
and management in joint ventures. As part of the study, the analysis of
sources of foreign and domestic authors was carried out, methods of
analysis, data collection and processing, interviewing and polling of
respondents, as well as synthesis, induction and deduction were used
in order to obtain signifi cant research results. The published results
and conclusions are based on scientifi c and practical experience and
can be used by researchers, faculty and company managers in training,
research and project implementation.
One of the signifi cant conclusions within the framework of the
article is the concept of interaction, within the framework of which
people, personal communication, mutual understanding and sympathy
are important aspects for Chinese representatives in doing business.
The article pays special attention to the tendencies of the Chinese
and world economy, the foundations of Chinese business culture,
ethics and tactics of negotiations. After analyzing the main factors
of increasing communicative cross-cultural competence, as a result,
recommendations are presented, using which international companies
can build eff ective and effi
cient communications with Chinese partners.
Gradually, all countries cooperating with China will need to train a
whole generation of people who will be professional Sinologists. These
are people who will not just know the Chinese language and who
studied in China, received education, but nationally responsible people
and also managers and leaders. We need those who will be able to
conduct an independent examination of future joint projects, possessing
cross-cultural competencies. When writing the article, various scientifi c
materials and the results of practical experience of work in international
companies with Chinese participation were used.
