GENETIC CONSTRUCTION DEVELOPMENT FOR OBTAINING COLD-RESISTANT
SWEET POTATO
Annotation
Abiotic environmental factors significantly affect the yield and plant distribution. With the
use of genetic engineering methods, it is possible to eliminate negative factors. The basic element
of these methods is the genetic construction with the understudied gene. As a result of the research
work, the
CBF3
gene was isolated from sweet potato (
Ipomoea batatas
.L), and a genetic
construction with the above mentioned gene was generated under the control of the inducible
promoter SWPA2. This construction will be further applied to generate transgenic plants tolerant
to abiotic environmental factors.
